The House in Alvide was born from a reflection on the relationship between wood, concrete, and green, assuming architecture as a silent gesture that rests upon the territory instead of dominating it.

The philosophical concept rests on the idea of ​​permanence and lightness: the house is implanted in the terrain and is formed by concrete slabs as if recognizing the memory of the place, respecting its presence and integrating it as the foundation of the project.

The garden on the slabs emerges as an inversion of the traditional concept of fertile soil. Here, nature is not merely a support, but a conquest. Vegetation settles on the concrete, creating a dialogue between the organic and the mineral, between what grows and what remains. This garden does not seek to conceal the concrete, but rather to enhance it, allowing it to emerge and participate in the composition of the space.

The house is organized around this balanced tension. The interior spaces open to the exterior, allowing the garden and the slabs to be part of daily life. Natural light, filtered by vegetation and reflected by the concrete, creates ever-changing atmospheres throughout the day, reinforcing the perception of time and the seasons.

More than a built object, the dwelling proposes a sensory and contemplative experience, where inhabiting the space approaches a state of awareness of the place.
