The Plot has a polygonal geometry with the largest extension in the direction West-East

The purpose of this proposal is to build a single family house that will fit into the lot, orienting itself in the South-West direction. The house develops in two wings, in an “L” shape, occupying the central area of ​​the land.

Starting from the urban parameters defined in the Allotment Permit and the established program, a contemporary design was created capable of respecting the defined rules, seeking to establish a simple image and easy relationship with the place, simultaneously responding to the current requirements of comfort and habitability.

The Concept seeks to emphasize the horizontality of the slabs. In this way, the different floors land on platforms that, through their protrusion and chromatic differentiation from concrete, provide a strong horizontality and serenity at the same time.

The outer walls are covered with grooved prefabricated cream concrete panels. The plasticity that can be achieved with this coating allows it to be given some volumetric density through grooved modeling. In this sense, we have a façade with visual texturing, also allowing light to play an important role in the composition when it affects them, creating a play of lights and contrasts that is always different depending on the hours of the day.

The main entrance to the house is on the ground floor and there was a need to use the maximum allowed threshold for this lot, 153.985m, in order to avoid a significant change in the existing topography. The entrance door is characterized by being a differentiating element in terms of color, being covered with panels of phenolic resin Trespa, in a golden tone finish. Taking advantage of the volume of the 1st floor and roof slabs, the entrance is framed, allowing the protection of its users in relation to the weather elements. The arrival at the entrance level is also punctuated with a void generated for the patio located on floor -1.
