DESCRIPTION
The house develops with the main front to Rua Ria de Aveiro and occupies the central area of the land. The entrance to the lot through the pedestrian access is made at an elevation of street 48.80m, and it was decided to implant the house at an elevation of 50.22m. In this way, the house appears elevated in relation to the natural profile of the land on the south side, marking the moment of entry into the interior of the house, and finds the ground level in the highest area on the northwest side. The concept of the project is based on two fundamental permissives: a) The idea of the construction “landing” gently on the ground, thus maintaining its natural morphology; b) The creation of two large horizontal slabs of concrete that contain the program and allow the spaces to be framed against the surrounding greenery. In reinforcing the above-mentioned permissions, a house is proposed that lives from the duality between the external and the internal environment, in a paradox in which the interrelationships of Bio and Noosphere are more evident: a house in the countryside, a field at home. As a fundamental example, we have a Living and Dining Area whose limits are lost in the visual horizon. The housing program is divided into 2 housing floors (floor 0 and floor 1) plus a basement floor.
